“Moomin Valley and the Umbrellas” opens April 11, 2026!

From April 11th, 2026 (Saturday), Moominvalley Park in Hannō City, Saitama Prefecture, will host “Moominvalley and Umbrellas,” one of the largest umbrella events in Japan. Now in its seventh year, 2026 will feature a vibrant 200-meter-long umbrella corridor themed around the timeless classic, “Comet in Moominland.” Furthermore, this year’s event is packed with unique attractions, including a newly installed “Moominmamma” object at Higashi-Hannō Station and a limited-time fireworks display over the lake during Golden Week.
